Representative Charlie Dent's statement on the introduction of the American Health Care Act

"I am continuing to thoroughly review and evaluate the released version of the American Health Care Act, paying special attention to its impact on Pennsylvanians. I am pleased that the bill fully repeals the jobs-destroying medical device tax, addresses over-reaching government mandates, and includes some elements of replacement. I remain concerned, however, about the impact of the Medicaid changes on vulnerable populations, as well as the overall effect of the bill on access to affordable care. I look forward to input from the nation's governors, the report from the Congressional Budget Office, the result of the Committees' processes, and feedback from my constituents as this bill continues through the legislative process over the next couple of weeks."
